At Almaden Academy of Music we know there is an instrument out there for everyone! We provide private lessons on most instruments for kids starting at 4.5 years old and welcome adult students as well! (Adults have the option to perform in special adult-student recitals, held twice a year.) We offer Royal Conservatory of Music Development Program assessments, Certificate of Merit, many other audition/festival opportunities, and happily tailor lessons to each student’s and family’s goals. Our highly trained teaching artists are experts on their instrument(s) and love helping their students realize the immense rewards of musical study. They work closely with the student and/or caregiver to help each student achieve their musical goals - whether lessons are just for fun, building toward a career in music, or anywhere in between! All musical styles are welcome at AAM (Classical, pop, jazz, rock, folk, etc), and our caring and experienced teachers thoughtfully adapt lessons to fit their students’ diverse abilities and learning styles. Neurodiversity is celebrated at AAM. Tuition includes unlimited Jam Nights, recital performances, and many workshops. Other workshops and events are available for a discounted AAM Student drop-in rate.
