Group Classes

Intro to the Instruments
A wonderful gateway to private lessons, this class for 4.5-7 years old lets kids develop their musical fundamentals while enjoying music with friends. We’ll learn to read and write music and spend 4 weeks each on piano, drums, recorder, and violin. We see a different orchestral instrument every week too! By the end of the semester your child will be ready to progress seamlessly into private lessons on the instrument that they enjoyed the most.
Summer Camps! (weekly June 2-Aug 1, 2025)
There are no repeats all summer! There's something for everyone, and even experienced musicians will enjoy any of them. Space is limited so the teachers can adjust to each student's level. We do adhere to the age guidelines for each camp so we can best serve the students. Please note camp tuition is not refundable unless we can fill the spot with a waitlist student. (This is to be in line with other camps in our area.) Private lessons offered all summer as well.
Middle School Choir (Grades 6-8)
Mondays 3:30-4:15pm
Middle school students are invited to develop their vocal and choral skills in this fun and varied choir taught by AAM Director Hannah Fuerst. While it is primarily designed to serve Bret Harte students since they do not have a choir option, middle school students from any school or homeschool are welcome. We will prepare and present two performances per year. (Maybe more!) Let's make new friends, sing some harmony, and enjoy music together!
Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensembles
Does your child attend Graystone Elementary School, Williams Elementary, or Bret Harte Middle School? We offer instrumental ensembles onsite after school. Music for Little Ones: Mixed Ages
Newborn - age 6
Music for Little Ones sets the foundation for a lifetime love of music. The proprietary, progressive curriculum blends tried-and-true musical education with modern elements to best fit the needs, interests, and overall development of young children and the grown-ups who accompany them. This fun-filled class for newborns - age 6 has something for everyone to enjoy. Activities with age-appropriate variations allow each child to get the full benefits and enjoyment from the entire class. An excellent option for busy caregivers to bring the kids together.
Junior Choir (ages 5-10)
Miss Kaya brings her warmth, knowledge, and amazing singing to our popular Junior Choir! Designed for ages 5-10 this choir is a wonderful chance for kids to come together to learn about other cultures, expand their musical literacy, develop expressivity, and SING! Kids will enjoy singing everything from world music, musical theatre, classical pieces, music from movies, to contemporary kids’ favorites. All abilities welcome.
